The Hall has been decorated externally, including the shed which has also been made safe. The grounds have received some attention (clearing leaves etc) The Committee are looking at the possibility of applying for a grant to improve the surrounding grounds, particularly the trees and root damage (a subject already much debated, we know!) Naturally any proposals will be shared with the Parish Council and PCC Palns are being drawn up to make some improvements within the building. A surveyor will be making a detailked inspection. The Committee are keen to make the Hall and the Grounds a more attractive prospect for hiring and, in general, for the village.
It is hoped to organise a social event in the New Year.
VILLAGE HALL TRUSTEES New Trustees to be elected in near future. During the coming months (July,August,September)it will be necessary to elect new Trustees for the future running of the Village Hall. One of their first jobs will be to produce accounts for the year 2006.
